Sign Gerald Green to an extension of course.

If Kidd leaves, they're screwed.

See what Northeastern's own JJ Barea can do?

Barea will do zero if he is not a third stringer.  The guy plays a few minutes a game is extremely outplayed for a majority of his minutes.  He is exposed as too small (and don't give me the "He makes up for it with speed", most PGs are as quick or faster that he is, and twice his height), and scores double digits in all blowouts, whether Dallas is winning or losing.  When he gets the green light that the game is over and he can chuck, he does it, and does it as well as any Napoleon Complex, bench-ridden player would.

I agree with your assesment, except for the silly insults.

Barea is a solid energy PG off the bench, they need to re-sign Kidd.

Whenever I hear the words "what would so and so do" I can only think of this:

Maybe Dallas will try to sign Hedo.  Sure, they already have Josh Howard, but Hedo is one of the bigger FAs around this summer and Cuban isn't shy about spending a lot of money.

They'll also resign Kid.
