At this point I have to say Derrick Rose, he's had a successful NBA season under his belt. More than Wall has. Wall hasn't even played against college level competition yet, can't really judge him yet.

I know no more than Fafnir.  Thought there might be a real youth junky out there who's ready to talk up Wall.  Still a hard comparison considering 2 years apart in joining N.B.A.

I've read some stuff on Wall but given what I saw from Rose as a rookie in the playoffs, I'm going with Rose until I see Wall play a college game.

Also, apparently the kid has already had a run in with the law on a breaking and entering charge. Could be a clue that his head isn't where it should be and might never be. On the other hand, John Calipari will be coaching him and Calipari coached Rose, so after a while we should be hearing all the comparisons with Coach Calipari having to answer the "who's better" question about a million times over the next year or so.

I've read some stuff on Wall but given what I saw from Rose as a rookie in the playoffs, I'm going with Rose until I see Wall play a college game.

Also, apparently the kid has already had a run in with the law on a breaking and entering charge. Could be a clue that his head isn't where it should be and might never be. Oh I sgree, the sound of the charge is worse than the reality but the type of parties that occur in vacant houses usually will include more than a beer or two. In that way, it might be worse. Kind of makes you pause though.

As if 95% of the players in college don't go to parties with "a beer or two" on a consistent basis. Haha.
