notice in the final crunch time minutes in the 4th quarter of this game, rondo is nowhere to be found, what a difference a year makes. This year you would have NEVER seen that.

the way that unit was playing you would. That lineup of house, ray, pierce, posey, and KG  played almost perfect basketball at both ends of the court in the 3rd and 4th, you couldn't mess with that lineup at the time, they were rolling.

Well, you could, but it would have been foolish.

This lineup was amazingly efficient! I can't get bored of watching this game over and over again, it was so great... to me it was the greatest game of this Finals (with game 6), and a true fingerprint performance from this Celtics team.

Plus, Rondo was bothered by his bad ankle which got worse in this game if I recall correctly, which also explains his benching in the second half.

Rondo was on the bench during crunch time not because of the ankle, but because Doc wanted to keep the defense honest for Paul and Ray to do their thing.

This morning I woke up and watched Game 4 of the Finals again to remember how sweet that comeback was. I actually was so mad at the team I left my brother's house and went home, this is after watching every playoff game with him at his house. Then I was cleaning and doing dishes with it on in the background because I wanted to focus on anything else.

My room mate was calling out whenever the C's made a run, I'd go and watch and always the Lakers pushed it back to 20. Then with 6 to go in the third the C's went on the tear that won the title.

I forget how good of a player Garnett is. I'm amazed we took Orlando to 7 without him. If he was healthy we'd have trashed them, and then if we got past the Cavs trashed the Lakers.

Oh man. Celtics are getting killed. Hope they make a miracle comeback from being down 24 and win it to take a 3-1 lead and I hope we make Sasha cry on the bench.
I wonder is Sasha gets his tiny jock faked off at the end of this one and then cries like a whiny baby on the bench and hits chairs in a hissy fit.

TP for that memory.

I bought this poster to remember that game and that moment. The best part is Sasha with his shoulders slumped in the background.
