I really don't see why so many people are jumping on this kids bandwagon. I'm not so sure his game translates into NBA success on a high level.

I think this draft is extremely weak and he is one of the better prospects in a very very weak draft. Harden is a nice college player. I saw him play several times, but he does not strike me as the type of player that is athletic or quick enough to be a two guard on the NBA level. I really question whether or not he can guard NBA two guards.

I also think he is too small to be a wing forward, and would be posted up by too may wings players.

I just don't think this guy is a candidate to replace Ray. He does not shoot the long distance three. He is more like a poor man's Pierce. If he is a backup, then I like him as a guy coming off the bench, but he is not a replacement for a future HOF in Ray Allen, who will retire as the NBA's all-time leader in three pont FG's, in all likelyhood.

I would be more excited about Evans, who does bring something to the table as far as quickness and ability to guard and get to the basket.

Still, I am not for trading any of our starters. I think we resign Starbury, sing Grant Hill to the Vet min. and get a big for the  MLE, hopefully Za Za, Birdman, Gortat, or Dice.

Honestly I'd be thrilled to have either Evans or Harden coming off the bench but as starters they'd be way below par and not worth what we'd have to give up to get them.

So generally speaking I agree with you.
