Of course any fan would like Danny to spend as much money as possible every year. But the truth is he has a budget. What if he's now able to either sign someone like Wallace or McDyess to a contract or trade some expiring contracts for a longer deal because he didn't sign Posey?

we are all guessing here, so yes it is possible that if we had signed Pose, we wouldn't be able to spend the money to get a Sheed or a Dice.

anyway, getting one of these guys would make me exceedingly happy and hopeful for a Finals return next season.

If Wyc's saying that they've targeted someone and Danny's said that a big is their top priority (I think he did) then chances are we're looking in that direction.

I just hope it plays out pretty quickly. The dragging with Pose last summer was agonizing. Only a few weeks, but it seemed interminable.

At least if the first piece of the puzzle (a Sheep or a Dice) happens early on...

... I can avoid the overload on my chosen teams if I want to.

(Bears/Cubs/Celtics btw)

how'd you end up with the celtics while going chicago with football and baseball?

Sean Grande was on Celtics live about a month ago and stated that Danny almost had McDyess this past year and he would shocked if he is not a Celtic next year.

My father who lived in Iowa is a big Celtics fan from his childhood. They were good when he was playing basketball at a young age.

He also roots for the Chicago Bears and the Yankees.

I picked up the Bears/Celtics from him, and the Cubs on my own during the 2003 year with Prior when I started watching baseball again. I never really liked the Yankees for some reason.
