He is a restricted Free agent this off-season, I wonder if the nuggets have the money to match a MLE offer from us. He would be a great backup who can score, shoot, and play D.. What would you guys think of this guy in Boston?

He's pretty much a slightly bigger Scal, who does rebound better and handles the ball better.  I don't know the Nuggets salary but they're going to have to dish out some money to resign Birdman, Jones, and Carter so he could be had for the MLE.

I think he'll get a bigger offer from someone else though, plus he really isn't a 5 or a true 3 so I don't think we'll have much interest in him even though I do like his game.

I don't want Boston to target him. I consider him too large of a risk, considering the money he'd take to sign and the other opportunities they'd lose out on.

For some team looking for a starting small forward, who'll give him 30+ minutes a night, I think he's a good risk for that type of team.

I've always liked him.  It's probably an overreaction from the game tonight, but I would be happy if they targeted him with the rest of the group this summer.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Yeah I'm a Linas Kleiza fan as well.

The comparison to Scal is an interesting one.  Kinda makes sense actually.  I think Scal might play a little bit better defense, but overall I think Kleiza can stroke it from beyond the arc better and also rebound better.

There's no need for both on our team though.  And I doubt Scal will be going anywhere from this team so I think we can count Kleiza out.

I've always liked him too.  Might be able to juice up a team a little better than Scal.

ps:  it's possible I've always liked Kleiza because I once got to kiss a Lithuanian girl on the lips (just a gentle short goodbye one) after a five hour train ride in California.  I not only fell in love with her on that train ride but I fell in love with Lithuania and all Lithuanians as well.
