you didn't pack it in when your best defensive player went down

you didn't give up on a young hungry Chicago team - you gave us one of the greatest series in NBA History

you didn't quit when a solid backup big went down - at the beginning of the season our 4's and 5's were be Kendrick Perkins, Mikki Moore, Brian Scalabrine and Baby Davis, I'd think we'd be a lottery team, yet we took the 3 seed to 7 games

you took a better on paper team to game 7, and came up short

you played with fire, passion and gave us some great moments to cheer our team on

you never gave an excuse - just put on the hardhats and went to work

I look forward to a productive offseason and a fresh start in 09-10

Amen to that.  I'll stand by what I've said before, I'm proud of this team, every last one of them, for coming this far.  Thanks for showing so much heart, and here's to coming back hungrier next year.

  • There can only be one.
All good things must come to an end.

I feel this song is most appropriate for the situation (chorus):
