First by letting me say I am a huge celtic fan that watches every game. I have been reading posts on this website for years but finally had to vent. I understand that losing both KG and Leon was huge and is the reason we arent playing better in the playoffs. But doesnt Doc have to take a hit here. I thought the key to winning is playing your best players. We are playing a team that plays Rashard Lewis at the 4 yes he is 6ft 10inches but he is really a perimeter player. So my question is why havent we gone small yet. By going small we play Pierce at the 4 Ray at the 3 and Eddie House at the 2. This will open up the floor for rondo and will spread the floor for our shooters. On top of it it will allow perk-big baby and scal to play center and use up there fouls on Howard. Maybe I am wrong but its not like we are playing so great. I hope to see this in game 4 because personally i think its the only way we can win.

Not a good idea.  It would make some sense if Howard was out of the game, but if they go inside, either Howard blocks everything or Pierce and Rondo don't get the calls they deserve.  Plus, Scal should always be starting to guard Lewis.  Having Scal on Lewis and Perk on Howard seems to be our best chance on defense.  Now, if they would give Eddie House the ball more often and Pierce stops being cold...

Just a question do you really think Scal is quick enough to guard Rashard Lewis? I love Scal and I think he gives us quality minutes off the bench and makes some big 3's for us but he is a bench player. Also by playing him where does Eddie House get his minutes from. They arent going to sit paul or ray and he doesnt have a great handle.

i agree. a lineup w pierce at the 4 is what the squad needs for about 12 minutes a game to give the offense a boost.

Lewis has been pretty useless when Scal is on him, he seems to get his points mostly on BBD.  Eddie gets his minutes when Pierce or Allen are out.  All they have to do is get him open and get him the ball.  This worked in Game 2 to perfection.
