Eddie House beats the MVP chant with all those "Ed-die, Ed-die" chants... he's rocking the building...

i think i heard this chant when he got a T for taunting the bull's bench after hitting a 3.

Easy to notice Eddie's great shooting night but let's give some credit to his defense too. He had very active hands and was helping everywhere disrupting the Bull's offense.

He had some trouble keeping his guy in front of him when in iso but his team D was very good and a factor in Doc being able to keep the bench on the floor.

I'll say it again that his tech with the chi bench was just so worth it.
Just the look on their faces when they realised what was going on... priceless.

Yep, great day for Eddie...

Gotta give big props to Doc for sticking with Eddie and I gotta give super big props to Eddie for playing the best defense of his life.  His defense was PHENOMENAL.  I watched him out there and it was all about EFFORT.  He was just moving faster than he had all series.  And that EFFORT spilled over onto the offensive end.  He hadn't been getting open all series, but with just a little more EFFORT (and maybe more fatigue on the Bulls side) he started to get some open looks and, you know what, he swished them all.  Great to see and as somebody already said in this thread, it would have been sad to see his career year end with a complete no-show in the playoffs.  Let's hope he can keep it going against Orlando!
Folly. Persist.

Before last night's game i was watching again last year's game 6 of the finals just to pump myself up and i noticed that Eddie was playing the back up PG position more than the SG (we had Posey back then that gave us a lot of versatility) and he did a great job. I know that the Marbury-House combo works fine and it gives House more open looks but watching last years series against LA made me think that maybe we should have gone for a Posey type of player in the free agency rather than a San Cassell one. I am fine with Marbury but I definitively expected more from him and playing Marbury forces House to defend bigger players at the SG position. Eddie did a great job in the defensive end last night but certain match ups could hurt him and his PT. Anyway, I am glad that he is back and that Doc's trust him again (It happened the same last year, Doc took him from the play-offs rotation till he realized that Cassell was under-performing)because i enjoy watching House on the floor, his energy, his quick release from the 3...Guys like him or Powe are what being a Celtic is all about. Good job Eddie!!

Eddie is the man...and for those who always want to package(trade) House and Scal, their talents and contributions on this team are needed and appreciated.Just like last season E.House comes through for the team.

that was a horrible technical did anyone else notice the guy on the bulls bench that stuck his head out at him and yelled something when he shot?
