Okay, I really don't think a ban was necessary...you gave me what, 10 minutes to change it before you prevented me from posting entirely?
I wasn't sure about the masked profanity...all you had to do was ask me to change it, which I have.
You guys really ought to have some clear rules listed in the profile page about what is okay for signatures / avatars and what is not. Your forum automatically allows any size (it nicely resizes for avatars, which is nice, though).
If you've permanently banned my [other] account just for this, I'll be pretty annoyed, as I don't see how it was warranted. I received no warnings whatsoever besides the one made in this post which I didn't see until I logged on again and couldn't post any longer.
A few things:
1) If you want to criticize a perceived staff decision (which you were incorrect about in this instance), the proper way to do it is through private message or email. The staff isn't going to discuss discipline in public;
2) Members are not allowed to have more than one account under any circumstances. Creating a new account to circumvent a suspension or ban is specifically prohibited;
3) The posting rules are linked in your members menu. You're encouraged to read them
here. The restrictions on signature / avatar side, as well as the prohibition on profanity and masked profanity, are both clearly listed there; and
4) Your signature is still unfortunately too big. Signatures may be no larger than 460x100 pixels and 20KB in file size; yours is 400 x 168, and is therefore 68 pixels too tall. Please change it to conform with our rules. We'll give you a reasonable amount of time to do so.
