On the replay, it looked like after Hinrich fouled him that Hinrich kinda walked over to Steph and said something to him. What it was, I don't know, but Marbury certainly seemed to react to it. And to be fair to Steph, and this is probably totally over-analyzing a meaningless play, Hinrich didn't seem like he was walking over to Marbury to apologize for a hard foul.
Looked like Steph was still pretty heated when he was shooting free throws.
He may have been heated, but he kept his cool at the same time. Marbury has been nothing but a model citizen since he's been here. If he can keep playing this well, this could prove to be a better late season acquisition than PJ Brown was last year. Yeah, I just said that.
I agree with that. The better Steph plays the farther we go. I still think that can be all the way.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels we can go all the way. I'm not expecting it. But I feel like we could still do it. For example, everyone says we can't beat the Cavs because Pierce will have to guard LeBron and he'll be too worn out to score. Well, what if Marbury picks up some of the scoring slack off the bench while Rondo and Allen continue to shoot and score well? I'm not saying it solves all the problems, but it illustrates the point that if everyone on that team plays to their potential, Boston can still go toe to toe with anybody.
