I just wanted to thank the Celtics for this win because last night when I went to bed, I was quite "frustrated" because I couldn't watch the game due to the jetlag (tipoff was at 1:00 am in France and I had to wake up early today). I'm not specially superstitious, but I have a Celtics poster from last year ("2008 NBA champions") which hangs on my room's wall since banner 17th. And minutes after I was in my bed, trying to sleep, the poster did fall from the wall for the first time in one year. So I thought "Wow, I hope it's not a bad prediction" but I couldn't get ride of this bad feeling.
As you may know, it's bothering to wake up and go to work while not knowing if the Celtics won the game the night before. I started downloading the game this morning when I came back but I couldn't wait until it was downloaded and I decided to go on Celticsblog to see the result. I didn't want to go on NBA.com or ESPN, once again being superstitious, considering that going on Celticsblog would increase the chances of a Celtics win.

I was truly worried, I feared so much to read "C's fall short, Bulls take 3-2 series lead"... but when I read "TRUTH" I knew that Paul had won the game for the team. The title said it all for the worried fans like me. I guess you can imagine how relieved I was, because in my opinion it's more heartbreaking to discover that the Celtics lost the game when you hadn't the opportunity to watch it.
This thread is probably useless but I just wanted to share this story with you because right now I'm so relieved that the Celtics won this game and took the series lead back. The next game will probably be tough too, but right now I'm just enjoying this victory, especially since Pierce struggled for 3 games, it's great that he came huge in this one and that the Celtics prevailed. So, thank you Celtics for showing your pride and not giving up when you could easily have done it considering that you were down big in the 4th quarter. I know I'll enjoy watching this game now that I know its result.
