How would I go about this? I'm Kg's age. I played HS ball, but I never played NBA ball and I have played pickup basketball sporadically since then, so my knee has many more miles left on it. I'm a teacher and a basketball coach, so I really don't need my knee as much as KG, and I did see an opposing coach this year without a leg, so I think this might have been done before. Who would I approach about this transplant idea? Seeing the Celtics repeat as champions and seeing my knee on tv would give me great satisfaction. Any advice would be appreciated...

  • The good ole days.
I've already though about it!

In the past people have honestly asked me if I would take a bullet for him.  I said that if I didn't die, the answer was unequivocally "yes".  I'd rather be in a lot of pain for a while and get to watch him finish his career than be healthy and see his career cut short.

I'd do it but I got a few issues:

A) i'm white, and unathletic

B) I've already completly torn my ACL back in 2002

The completely torn ACL part rules you out. I'm telling you I have a great knee. Possible pictures to come...
