I just caught this, it's a throwaway last line in the Wojnarowski story about Flip Saunders taking over Washington, citing the Washington Post...

dam, whatever happened to SAM? I was pretty certain of his return as an assistant. Maybe he crossed Doc, I don't know.

Good for him. I think the Wizards made a great move getting Saunders; I expect good things from them  next season.
