My little girl and I walked into Phillips as the national anthem was being played and the first thing I noticed as I scanned the players was that KG was missing.
While I could have felt cheated for buying last second tickets and driving over there in a hurry to catch the game, I didn't. My first words to my daughter were, "Uh oh." That was an understatement. I was on the phone the minute the anthem stopped to find out how serious this might be.
From what I hear from this site and every other source I can find, it's due only to soreness and wanting to keep him from playing hurt at all. Sounds to me from what Doc says that if this was the playoffs, he'd be out there. However, there is no reasonalbe fan that would risk KG's best health for a one notch in the seeding.
I do, however, worry a lot about Leon. Let's hope he is ok too. We'll need the bigs to get to 18.
