I know one of the owners.  I'll have to hit him up for some sort of access if I end up moving back up that way.

Maine has been awarded a D-League franchise, which will begin play in 2010. The club will serve two yet-to-be named NBA teams.

So wait, I thought the Celtics were supposed to have this ballclub all to themselves ... This kind of dampens my enthusiasm somewhat (that and not having the affiliate team's base of operations situated in Worcester).

Initially, we'll have other teams' demotions there, but the coaching staff will be getting input from the Celts regarding what to work on, etc.  I'm sure Celtics players will be given priority, as well.
