Raja Bell

Boston trades:
Brian Scalabrine
J.R. Giddens
Conditional future 1st round pick

Charlotte trades:
Raja Bell
Future 2nd round pick

Trade fills the void that Tony Allen left, and still gives us the option to sign Marbury and/or a veteran big.

Brad Miller

Boston trades:
Patrick O'Bryant
J.R. Giddens
Brian Scalabrine
Kendrick Perkins

Sacramento trades:
Brad Miller
Future 1st round pick

Ummm, hell no!  But the Celtics were involved in Miller rumors, and this would be one of the only plausible scenarios.

Marcus Camby

Boston Trades:
Brian Scalabrine
J.R. Giddens
Kendrick Perkins

Clippers Trade:
Marcus Camby
Future 2nd round pick

Again, I don't like this scenario, as I'd rather hold on to Perkins than pick up a center in his mid thirties, although it may benefit the team short term.

Rasheed Wallace

Boston Trades:
Tony Allen
J.R. Giddens
Kendrick Perkins
Brian Scalabrine
Patrick O'Bryant

Detroit Trades:
Rasheed Wallace
2nd round pick

Again, I don't see this trade really working out for either teams.  While I'd love Sheed, his salary is just too big without trading Ray.

Amare Stoudemire

IMPOSSIBLE.  I tried 3 team, 4 team, etc. etc.  In the end, it would be us losing something like Powe, Scal, Perk, Giddens, POB, and TA.  Just too many holes to fill, and I doubt all teams would want to take part anyways.  And I really don't think the Celtics should be trading Ray Allen, so I've excluded him from all scenarios.

In the end, the only possibility of all these scenarios that makes any kind of sense is the Raja Bell trade.

What's up with Perk being involved in all thse trade rumors. Reigning NBA Executive of the Year won't make such a dumb move. I hope raja bell trade works.

That's what I'm saying.  The only way we can make one of these trades is by trading Perk (along with Scal).  Which I don't want to do.

That's why the Raja Bell one is the only plausible one.

I think we would have to give up Powe or a better young prospect in Walker in order to get Bell. :-[

TP for the effort.
And I would be fine including Powe in a trade for Bell.
I don't think the trade would be a direct trade for Bell, but part of a trade with Portland (involving Raef and Gerald Wallace) or some other team...

Danny has gotten in MJ's head before (i.e. in the Finals when MJ freaked at mid-court and pointed in Ainge's face), but that didn't work out so well for the Phoenix Suns.  Maybe Danny figures he'll play the percentages and that it HAS to work this time.    ::)

totally thought this was going to be one of those massive trades that has 6 teams and 50 players exchanging uniforms

kinda disappointed it isn't, but good effort anyway

You don't necessarily have to include Perk to make a trade for a guy like Camby, Miller or Sheed... those guys make like 10-11 mil.

Tony + Eddie + Scal + Giddens is pretty close to matching salaries.
