after looking at his stats and how he's grown from year to year it really is impressive.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/rondora01.html

He's one offensive rebound away from his total from last year.
He's got like 80 more assists than he had in the whole 2007 season.
His FG% is up over 500
His 3pt% is grown from .207 to .263 to .303. and he's completed double his 2007 total.

If all of his Per game totals grow at the same rate they did last offseason, that'd put his 09-10 season at just about

12ppg, 12apg, 6rpg, 2.3spg.

which would be pretty good.

my reasonable expectations from Rondo has him Averaging 12+ points and 9+ assists, on his way to scoring over 1000 points for the season.

My guess for next year would be 14/7/6

I think the assist number will go down as the team gets older and the offense slumps a little. This will, however, lead to him being asked to take a bigger role, and his jumpshot will get better over the summer. Rebounds up a little too, thanks to increased playing time.

Super optimistic me says 16/10/7 with increased playing time, but I'm going to tell super optimistic me to go back to watching the Tim Duncan-lead C's.

i honestly think by next year he will be running the second unit as well, allowing him to dish down low to powe, and pick and pop with baby, hell even alley-oops to Billy Walker. i think the increased playing time will result in his assist number going up. BUT if JR plays next year that could affect his rebounding, becuase JR is a BEAST on the boards once he gets it going.

TP, I'm expecting just about the same numbers. However, I'll attribute the scoring numbers going up to Rondo being more of a scoring option in our offense. Rondo, and the team seem to be at their best when he's just as much of a threat of scoring as passing. Along with Doc eventually having to baby the big 3 even more Rondo's scoring load will increase.

If I'm trying to be as realistic as possible 14/7/5 is what I'd say.

What I believe he'll put up is 15/8/5... Can you say all-star?
