tough call between LA and SA... SA had the C's under a vice for so long.... I'd love to see KG vs Duncan... Rondo vs Parker...

I voted San Antonio

We'd hate Ginobli more that Sasha Vujacic.

I want the Celtics to defeat the Spurs for the 2009 NBA Championship. The Spurs won 4 times in the last 10 years, always on odd years, and this will further cement how good these Celtics teams are. This is the way I felt when the 2008 NBA Finals started. In 2010, bring on a throwback 2008 Celtics-Lakers NBA Finals!  ;D

As Barkley said when asked "Do you want to play the Bulls in the Finals?"

"Hell no, I want the Clippers!"

I'll take the TWolves  ;)

That's a good thing, isn't it?  ;)

In all seriousness, I'd like to beat the Fake
Show once again. For the obvious reasons:

-To see Kobe and Co. cry once again.
-To make sure Jackson doesn't get another ring.
-To be able to say, "Bynum or no Bynum, we beat
your sorry, whiny, yellow behinds. PERIOD".
-To make sure this team goes down in history as
more than a "fluke" team. They deserve that.
-Finally, because I just hate the Lakers.

Ideally I'd like to beat the lakers again. That's like sex for a Celtic fan.

I would be interested though, to see them play a series against San Antonio. A battle for the ages....KG & Duncan.

I´ve picked the Spurs. They´re basically the Celtics` bizarro "What if" team. Even after all these years, I still think Tim Duncan was destined to be a Celtic. Oh well...
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I chose Rockets because if we were to play them, I would have a chance at going to the games in Houston.  ;D

But, Spurs and Lakers wouldn't be that bad, either.

That's not fair... I can't choose the Bobcats because they are an EC team!

I chose the Lakers because it's always fun to beat them, but the Spurs would be my second choice for the KG vs. Duncan aspect and the Tony Parker vs. our "overrated" PG Rondo duel.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I think if the Spurs can regain Championship form it'd be a more entertaining series. Think about it there are so many great matchups to watch all-around. Rondo/Parker, Ray/Bowen, Pierce,Ginobli, and Duncan/Garnett(best head to head matchup ever?).

...But Kobe 2 time defending loser sound so appealing. :)

Oh, the Lakers. For me, beating the Lakers in the finals and watching Kobe ( that arrogant, unapologetic, egomaniac excuse of an MVP masquerading as a team player ) walking off the court again while his team is still playing is like...

Running into your high school sweetheart( the one that drove you completely nuts in the rack ) 10 years later and she's way hotter than before( if that's even physically possible...) and she tells you that you were always the one and she'd do "anything" to "be together" again...and you're single...and she's in a playboy bunny outfit...and she's crying (just a little) as she's telling you this...and then her bunny ears fall off.

I mean, it just doesn't get any better than kicking the living crap out of the Lakers. There are very few things that make me happier.
