so i got into an arguement with somebody over rondo harris. Though i know were all a little bias here i stated that rondo was a better overall player and that he was faster then harris. I mentioned that harris is fast...because he is, but not as fast as rondo. I even mentioned the head to head stats. though they are tainted due to harris sitting out the 2nd half of one of the games. Rondo though avgs 11.5 pts 8 rebounds and 13 assists and 4.5 to on 53% shooting in 28 minutes. I also said since rondo is a TRUE pg he should be in the all star game. The east doesnt have a natural pg on the all star team. Thoughts?

I don't think you can use that since Rondo is a true point guard he belongs in the all-star game over Harris.  Harris is quite deserving in my opinion.  If there is any argument it should be Rondo over Jameer Nelson, but I do think that if a 3rd all-star was taken from the Celtics, that it should be Ray Allen.  Also, I don't think you can use head to head stats in deciding an all-star spot.  There's been 45 other games for a reason.

TP for mentioning Ray Allen's lost right to be an allstar again.
As great as I think Rondo is, I don't think he is more deserving than Harris or Nelson. Jameer is having a career year in stats and his team is staying in the top 3 teams in the East. As for Rondo vs. Harris...Harris has a more consistent jumper, and is ridiculously fast. Being a Celitcs fan, I'd hate to be bias and pick Rondo b/c of that, so I'd have to say Harris has the slight edge over Rondo
Can't stop, Rondo!

Harris and Nelson are having great years, but I don't think either are allstars (neither is Rondo).  Ray should be there over all three guys.  If Nelson's injury keeps him out, I would pick Ray, then Rondo if Ray doesn't want to go.
