So I'm watching the replay of the game today and at the 3:34 mark in the 2nd, after Brad Miller kinda put the unnecessary shove on Rondo, Tommy kinda goes onto a rant about how he'd take a shot at Miller. Then between sentances, Tommy says something along the lines of "Oh, and it makes me mad" with the voice of an angry hell-demon. I had  a pretty good laugh.

yea, miller was a punk for that. he straight armed him. i wasen't as upset about it as tommy was, but it should have been a tech.

That was funny though, my favroite crack up moment was at the end of the third, when mike cracked tommy up. ill mess this up but it was along the lines of;

Mike: and now...I can say it

Tommy: Don't do it!

Mike: He's.....A house of fire!

Tommy: (Big belly laugh) You devil you! now he'll miss his next 10 shots!

Brad Miller has always been a dirty player, anyone remember when he cheap shot Shaq like 6-7 years ago when Shaq was at full beast mode. Shaq almost took the mans head off.

Isn't this the second game in a row against the Kings Miller has taken a cheap shot at someone?  I thought it was Rondo in the last game too but I could be mistaken.

I noticed and was laughing out loud rather hard.

I have a theory...:

I think this new "demon voice" is going to become a staple in the Tommy arsenal of commentary. I think he was approached about being such a homer and calling for the refs head on every call, so I think he has resorted to this "deomon voice" as a socially acceptable way to channel his rage. Thoughts?

People say basketball is a noncontact sport? Ha! Well, I for one believe that what Tommy said is right. You do have to retaliate sometimes. I did not see the foul on Rondo but my bet is if we were in a heated playoff battle and it happened then either Perk or probably BBD would send a clear message to the opposition. In todays game the refs are so strict, especially if you retaliate but it has to be done sometimes. I think is one of the main reasons you wont see BBD traded also. I remember when I was in 8th grade and we had a guy who was like 6' 2" tall and probably weighed 220 and I asked my dad about him and he said "well, he takes up a lot of room on the floor".

This is one of my biggest beefs with the team. They let Rondo get killed and do nothing in return. Nobody says anything, nobody does anything. It's the same way Perk takes a hard foul on the shoulder at the beginning of the Laker and Cav games.

Brad Miller didn't do jack.  He fouled Shaq, but it was Oak that clobbered him in the back of the head.  Shaq just went after the wrong guy (or, the right guy; I'm not sure even Shaq wanted to tussle with Oak).

if shaq ever connected that, brad miller would be 6 feet deep.  how the heck did shaq miss him anyway? on second thought, the way he shoots free throws, we know he has bad aim.

I have a theory that Shaq probably actually really sucks at fighting, since he's been so much bigger than everyone else at a young age, and so good at clowning and cracking jokes, that no one probably ever messed with him.

I've always found this clip intriguing, if only for the fact that as DL and xmusc note, Brad Miller is toast from an existence standpoint if Shaq lands that.

That said, watching the video again indicated something I'd forgotten - how many altercations have we witnessed in which Ron Artest is both present and one of the least culpable participants?

There he is (15) after Miller and Oak.  He's in the scrum, sure, but it's far from a Ron-centric event.

This is not true. I've seen Perk blow up players on at least two occasions this season after laying out Rondo. One was Deron Williams after he stepped on Rondo. Perk gave him a forearm shiver on a screen.
