I find it funny that people are so adamantly for or against certain players (especially the Baby/Powe debates), when all the apples coming off the bench have tons of bruises.

Oh yeah, well my player only has 17 bruises, while yours has 19!!

In truth, Powe or Baby will never be good enough to be 20+ minute regulars. They're just too short.

And Tony is a shooting guard who can't shoot... and is undersized. That is a pretty bad combination. Again, why not sign Mo Evans? The Hawks got him for the same price as TA.... The Hawks!!

The things is, after we get Mo Evans, you'll suddenly notice that he has as many bruises as our bench players, just different bruises.

did you not see the game in atlanta? the gameplan was get the ball to whoever Mo evans was guarding, the celtics pretty much showed why they had no interest in him in that game..dont be fooled by his body -he couldnt guard a chair, ..rather have tony

Don't know about that, because BBD looks like he might be able to play some SF. ;D

On a more disciplined team i'd expect his defense to be passable. Heck who thought Ray Allen or Eddie House would have looked competent on defense?

When Evans was on the Lakers, he looked really solid all around. And considering the C's sniffed around Reggie Miller's corpse again last summer shows that they aren't too stuck on just getting defensive players.
