globe just put up that he's expected to play wensday barring a set back in shootaround. The trainer said that he has no structual damage, but has tenderness and some swelling. No xrays were preformed.

I'm torn, on one hand, i expect that because he's a warrior. On the other, if the knee is even a bit stiff, i'd rather he take the night off to be safe.

I don't know.  Pierce's writhing didn't look to good.  Hyperextensions can be real real nasty (with damage hard to detect if nothing tore, especially meniscus).

Now he's got two bum knees.  Awesome.
God bless and good night!

If its tender he should sit the game. Better to be cautious. I am glad its nothing serious.

Was he helped onto the podium at the post game interview?
No. Also, Steve Bulpett said tonite on a Boston sports show that he went from the locker room to the interview room without a limp. Today it was reported that he did not get an MRI and Pierce wasn't making a big deal of it. Depending on how he feels tomorrow he may or may not miss the Atlanta game.

Depends on what the player wants to do. It is their body so with something like this you have to trust their judgment. Especially since PP doesn't have a history of sitting out of many games.
