Do you think the celtics need to make a trade for someone to come off the bench and be a consist scorer night in and night out? I am just really bored and i know a boring subject but I just would like to read your ideas for people you think the celtics could realistically get this year maybe at the deadline that could come off the bench and really help out... I would love Raja Bell because he is a great defender and can knock down the three at any given time, and the reason I could see him being available is because his is with the Bobcats and he really doesn't serve the purpose there sure and expiring contract but we could send one as well... Anyway let me know what you think and who you think the celtics would be able to go out and grab off the market thanks everyone!

It wouldn't hurt I guess.  I still think the piece we'll see added (if any) is the PJ Brown type veteran big man off the bench.  Come playoff time that will be invaluable.
Yup

We didn't really have a consistent scorer off the bench last year, so there's no need for one this year IMO. The hope is that at least one of House/TA/Powe has it going that night offensively and that's a pretty good bet. Plus in the playoffs, one of the big 3 will be out there with the 2nd unit anyway. What we need is a big guy with more length and a reliable shot (Joe Smith) and someone other then Scalabrine at backup sf (Walker or Giddens).
