Les Claypool's Frog Brigade - Purple Onion

Agreed.

Some stuff to add:

the Mars Volta - Deloused in the Comatorium + TREMULANT (their first EP)
MFDOOM - Doomsday
Madvillian - Madvilliany
At The Drive-In - Vaya (1999)

I was going to mention DangerDoom - The Man and the Mask.

I like anything with MF Doom though.

Here's some good ones:

The Wrens - Meadowlands
Broken Social Scene - You Forget it in People
Edan - Beauty and the Beat
The National - Boxer
Saint Etienne - Tales From Turnpike House
Elliott Smith - From a Basement on the Hill
Flaming Lips - Yoshimi (mentioned by others)

TP for you...fully agree
He's a local product too. Gotta show Boston a little love.

Eminem's stuff and some of the Red Hot Chili Pepper's stuff is some of the only stuff that has impressed me.

I think Nodd Morris is the best musician so far this century.

Lifehouse-Stanley Climbfall
White Stripes-Get Behind Me Satan
RHCP-Stadium Arcadium
Must-Androgynous Jesus
Eminem-Marshall Mathers and The Eminem Show
System of a Down-Toxicity
Metallica -St. Anger
Enya-Shepherd Moons

I could go on and on :)

St. Anger made Gerald Green look like Michael Jordan. Yes, it was that bad.

I had all the Radiohead albums on random earlier on my phone.

The second disk for In Rainbows has some great stuff too.

Revolutionary 1 and 2, there's some good stuff on those albums. I didn't really like the Green Lantern mixtape much, though. Golpe De Estado was one of the only songs I got into and enjoyed, and it was mostly for the beat. Can't wait to see what Tech has in store for Volume Three, though.

GREAT list celticinorlando.

I put a bunch to start,

I'd add National - Boxer and Alligator to my list. Put the new U2 cd on a borderline alert.
