Pierce is a much better dresser.  At least 82 times a year he looks much better than either of those suckers.

Disagree that it was Kobe that took them to three tittles. It was Shaq that's why he has 3 Finals MVPs and Kobe has 0.

And why Shaq has 4 rings and Kobe only 3.

And why Shaq is awesome and Kobe isn't.

Kobe is better than Pierce.   Pierce isn't on that level.  But the Kobe thing seems to be overhyped by the media as some heir to Jordan's throne or something.  I don't totally understand the Kobe thing, honestly.  LeBron, IMO is better in pretty much every way other than shooting and clearly is the best player in the league today

I don't agree with that.  I think Kobe is a better shooter, passer (slightly), defender and ball-handler than LeBron.  But LeBron is such a freak physically.  His combination of speed and size is something hardly ever seen in this league.

I agree. 100%

Lebron's game is based on alot of athleticism and not as much skill as Kobe. He is certainly the tougher cover for Paul - but I think Kobe all around is the superior player.

You just can't overlook the SKILL aspect of the game. I love how people write off Kobe's superior shooting. Well he does everything better but 'shoot.' ****. Basketball is a fundamentally offensive game. You only score by getting the ball in the basket. Thus shooting is [dang] important.

Lebron can shoot some too - don't get me wrong. But Kobe is a the better shoot and the better player.

lebron is a great player, but he does NOT scare me...

some guys you're just scared of when the game is on the line, but for some reason lebron has yet to get that "fear factor" to his game.

kobe has it...billups has it...ginobili does too (when healthy).  but lebron has yet to prove his late-game heroics when it matters most.  maybe he will one day, but not yet...

Are the Lakers really the "world's team?" Is that where Magic's bias starts to seep in, or do you guys think there's actually some truth to that statement?

While Lebron may not have a "last second dagger" like the others you listed, He indeed scares me when going into a fourth quarter because he can take a game over by himself. You need look no futher than Game 5 of ECF in 07. He won that game single handedly. Won of the great individual performances in playoff history no question.

shaq may not have a title without kobe or dwayne wade. i really don't know why anyone really cares. i never understood the brady/manning stuff either. we won.that's all i know and love. i like pierce a lot. he's thre frickin truth but i don't really care if he's rated the best,2nd best or 100th. whatever he's playing like now i'll take that. whatever gets the celtics another ring.

i like what magic had to say about rivalries. the nba is dissed all the time for promoting players and not teams. is'nt it also abc,tnt etc to blame for this? how many more interviews do we have to see about comparisons of kobe w/jordan. he himself is clearly tired as hell of this. i'd love to lkook at espn, tnt and not have to see 1 single mvp race update when we're 10 **** games in on the season.
i'd like to see some legends on tv saying how this is the best the nba has EVER been. i've been watching since 1984 and i don't think it's even close. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
