The concept is great and all, but It will probably be incredibly hard to pull off in a fun way.
not at all, demo's awesome.
it only uses 4 buttons in free running mode, all the triggers.
it's very smooth and easy as heck, its only limited by how fast you can think on the run.
example: at one point in the demo, you run into 4 cops, and have to run for it.
the first part around the corner from them is a stairwell, at the top is a door to the roof.
i played it 4 times, and i got up thier 4 diffrent ways.
1. ran up the stairs and booted the door. (obvious works too hehe)
2. grabbed the rails on the stairs and swung on them like monkey bars to get up to an air vent.
3. wall jumped up the middle of stairs (they zig zagged, so the middle was like a cube)
4. wall ran up the first wall, and wall jumped backwards to a ledge above the stairs. i stayed hanging up there till the cops ran by me underneath thinking i had gone in the stair well. dropped down and ran out the other way they had come in. (unfortuantly, there's no way to the roof back where they came from, so i eventually had to go up the stairs. to bad the cops were waiting....it was cool to be able to outsmart them though, and sicne most of the game isn't combined to hallways, i think it will work out in game.)
and thats just the ways i could think of knowing the way to bounce off things in the 20-25 minutes i played. i'm sure if i had sat thier i could have thought of even more stuff to do.
Edit: what im really looking forward to, post single player is the races against people. should be fun to race people over rooftops and through sewars and such
