Yep, I love Eddie's enthusiasm off the bench and his hustle. The fact that he can shoot the ball so well doesn't hurt either.
However, as I mentioned in the original post, one of the reasons why I think he was the right choice and what also makes him even more valuable is: after going all season as a guy deeply entrenched in the lineup and a pretty key part of our success all year, he was basically relegated by Doc to the D league for all intensive purposes while Sam got all his minutes. The guy didn't complain, but then after all that when his number is called he comes in and AGAIN has a big impact on us winning it.
Shows alot of character and a well balanced ego.
Tranlated to this year > he has the mentality to be able to step aside, in spurts, if asked this year so we can help Gabe grow. Other Vets might not like that or couldn't handle it. But Eddie will roll with it and if we can really get Gabe up to speed he could turn into a big help with his size, shooting and long defense at the point this year.
This is so valuable because it allows the coach to bring everyone along, making the team stronger as a whole.
