Is Francona (or other managers) pulled aside during gameplay to be interviewed or is it pre-taped moments earlier (and/or) going on between innings? I have been looking for a source all morning and can't find anything either way.
I noticed in last nights sox game, when the assistant managers were being interviewed in the dugout it appeared to be live during the game...
It's between innings. I always assumed that, because it would really suck for the coach to have to do sometihng like that during play, they showed John Farrel's interview during Game 1 (I think) against the Rays, and right in the shot you could see Varitek just running out of the dugout with his catchers equipment.
