I't 6:30 on a rainy Saturday morning and I am ready.

I am ready to stop reading posts about rookies I know next to nothing about.

I am ready to stop reading posts about computer games I know nothing about.

I am ready to stop reading about the Olympics and International players.

I am ready to stop reading about the vast # of teams Ray Allen is going to be traded to.

I am ready to stop posting fun threads about life that are soley designed to get the creative juices of a a bunch of you on this site flowing so that I can be further entertained by banter and perhaps garner a TP or two.....(although I have many more ideas floating in this brain of mine.)

No, I am ready to move on and.....

Side note - Am I the only one who's happy to just bask in the glory of championship #17? I mean, we're the champions and everyone is trying to get to where we're at. Until the season begins, we're the talk of the town and we have the ultimate bragging rights. However, from opening night onwards, it's back to nail-biting, back to constantly worrying about your team for 6-8 months solid and it's pretty much another weight on your shoulders. Right now, I'm more than happy to just look at previews and websites with the words "Reigning Champions Boston Celtics" or words to that effect.
