Kurt Thomas in the PJ role, that'd be a perfect fit for this team...

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes.

Love this guy.  Was hoping for him all season and was quite jealous when the Spurs got him -- but alas, I had no idea how wonderful PJ would turn out to be at that point.  Thomas' game looked a bit more aged than I would have liked with the Spurs (he is in his mid-30s after all), but I still love his attitude and style, and I think he'd really be a perfect fit here.  TP for sure.

That being said, are we sure PJ's days here are over?  Has that been all but confirmed yet?

Absolutely
mid range

clutch ( sometimes)

he just dont have the champion blood, or he has??

Ans SW I dont know I can see PJ playing HALF a year, he can play the same role one or 2 more years
Once a CrotorNat always a CROTORNAT  2 times CB draft Champion 2009-2012

Let's keep PJ Brown in the Punxutawney Phil role.

If he wants to retire, Zo would be a great choice, but I don't see a guy who is so revered in South Florida playing out the string anywhere else. He tried that once in New Jersey and it was a disaster. He either plays another year for the Heat or retires.

Kurt Thomas would be a great addition to this team.  Although not a seven footer, he has the bulk and savvy to play bigs, and his mid-range jumper is money.  Perkins hopefully will be able to stretch out his minutes to 32 a game next year, now that the refs have some respect for his game.

Stromile Swift is out there, and although his career has been a train wreck, with the right coaching and attitude (the KG effect), he could be the kind of athletic big the team doesn't have besides the aging Garnett.    Diop would be a great add defensively, but I think he will be a bit expensive to sign if the Cs have to throw the MLE to Posey.
