So I get to work wearing my KG Beast T:

(gotta plug flycasual, they're awesome!)

and one of my coworkers sees me and is almost in tears - he's a big fan, but went to bed early, figured we get up at like 5 o'clock and its not worth losing 2 hours of sleep (I think he went to bed in the 1st qtr) - he's like, so I turn on the news and they go to sports and go through the Red Sox game, no mention of the c's, what the heck - so he goes online and is like, "they won?" - apparantly it was the top story (rightfully) on the news, so not in the sports report.. regardless he won't be going to bed early again in the finals - I did tell him that at least it wasn't a series closing game, I think that may have made him feel better

Oh... That shirt is pretty beast (No pun) Where would one be able to find such a shirt?

I actually had the reverse thing happen. I was forced to stay late at work (I live in NY so no one respects my love of the C's), so I missed the entire first half. I was livid. I want to say that all that matters is catching the comeback, but I keep thinking I missed the first half of an absolutely incredible game.

My friend Sean went out to smoke and by the time I went to get him it was Celtics down by 2. He's still kicking himself.

you should tell him that's a sign he shouldn't be smoking...I heard that will kill you...causes cancer... new scientific evidence and everything, even the surgeon general says don't do it, and the surgeon general knows what's up

though he has nothing on C. Everett Koop:

I can't resist, Koop is just the man - I bet he stayed up for the whole game, and he's like 200 years old

Once we went on that 12-0 run at the end the 2nd quarter we knew we would be back in this game by the 4th.

The C's have dominated the 3rd all season. We stuck around and watched and highfived well into the night.

I laid in bed awake until about 5 AM with the adrenaline and thinking about the championship that we are so close too.

Hmmm... what was he smoking?  You mean he was out there for a half hour until you went to get him?

I almost gave up at the half..... I'm was so angry and frustrated that a soft team like LA could be dominating the C's.....

But being the hard core fan I am, I couldn't stop watching...... I was hoping for a 2002 flashback vs. the Nets......

This describes to a T how I was last night.

I was in the chat and was so disgusted that I said "Game over. Goodnight." midway through the 2nd quarter and left the room.

But when I went to turn the tv off at halftime and go to bed,I couldn't do it.
21 years to get back here, I figured I owed it to the team to stick it out. Besides, all year long, the third quarter has been the Celtics quarter. Or at least that's what I kept telling myself.

I'll tell you this: I'll never doubt these Celtics again. :)

BTW, When we finish the Fakers off, I believe this will be one of the most satisfying series wins in Celtics history.

Where would it rank to you??
