...I kept having flashbacks, of sorts, to the comeback game against the Nets in 2002. Specifically, just how removed are these Celts from the O'Brien era style of play (perimeter shooting, tough defense, rebounding)?
Not that any of this is a bad style per se; the 02 Celtics were flawed in many ways, and that was the only style that they could have success with. And yes, the talent level of the 08 team is far greater than the 02 bunch. To me, it seems, that other than personnel, the Celts really have not changed.
Anyone else have the same feeling/observation?
