Was listening to weei and they played the audio of what Kobe said during his press conference.  Kobe complained at the end of game 2 about the free throws naturally.

He got his wish in game 3 going to the line what? 20 times?  They ask him about his trouble at the line and he responds with "well it's been so long since I've been to the line, it's like they dropped me China...in Shanghai with no chinese dictionary, can't understand anything."

Are you kidding me?  First of all he's trying to be funny, and he failed cause that's just not funny.  Second of all, shut up Kobe.  You get a much needed win, one your team HAD to have, you get to the line which is what you wanted all along and you're STILL complaining.

If your team is now down 2-1 in the NBA finals, you've just got a win in which you went to the line 34 times, 12 more times than the Celtics, and you're still complaining about the refs then you're team has problems.

Yeah, that's so true.
Forget the refs.
The Celtics were just sub-par.
Ray did all he could but it wasn't
quite enough.
The Lakers have not impressed me!

kobe should have been hit with two technicals and been kicked out the game for yapping and stomping his feet like a child everytime he missed a shot and wanted a foul call

Honestly i despise players like him and sheed who just cry and complain

Kind of players i respect, lebron james who prob does get hacked alot, pleads a little then moves on, guys like rondo who barely never complains, kg, deron williams and there are more

players who complain are selfish and instead of doing that should run back to defense to help their team out

Kobe has no right to ever complain about the refs with what he has gotten away with in his career.

All stars get calls in the NBA. The Celtics have benefitted from that numerous times over the years. But to get those calls consistently in your career, and then complain when you don't for a few games reminds me of the mentality of a spoiled 3 year old. Oh yeah, we're talking about Kobe. I guess the spoiled three year old mentality is one of those things so obvious it didn't really need to be said.

I had no problems with what he said after the game. I did have a problem when they asked him at the end of the first half what he did differently to get to the line 12 times in the first half, and he said "absolutely nothing" and gave that smirk of his as though, hey, we played the exact same game, but the referees are finally being fair; we only lost Game 2 because of refs.

(That's another reason I hate the ESPN peeks into the locker room. If I were Doc, I would have had that video and said this guy doesn't respect you. He thinks you only won because of officiating. He doesn't think he can beat you. Except with a lot more expletives. With the league and the nation and the Lakers watching you, you just can't give that motivation and talk down on the opposing star like that.)

I love that we fought back when there was home-crowd officiating in the first half by attacking the rim (Big ups to Posey on this - he put it on the floor and got to the line 3 times, making all 6 of his free throws; he was more effective at that than Pierce was) in the second half. That was how LA should have reacted in Game 2, but didn't, because they're just a softer team.
Go Celtics.
