Tonight's the night for KG to carry the team.  Pierce will play, maybe he'll be effective, may be won't, but KG should be THE MAN.

We know the Lakers have no one to stop him.

Put KG in the post with four 3 point shooters around him - House, Ray, Posey, and Pierce (who should be able to stick the 3 even if his knee isn't great) or Sam

A variation to this is with a big on the weak side for rebounds (PJ or Powe).  This is the the old Rockets offense when they won it with Hakeem.  Combine that with the Celtics D, and that alone should net the Celtics a win tonight.

Go Celtics!

I agree.

I think this id KG's game to win.  This is where he puts his stamp on the NBA Finals.

Not only do I agree that he should, I believe that he will. Much has been made of his missed shots in the 2nd half of game 1, but what I saw was a confident, relaxed KG - not somebody who was uptight, nervous and unsure of himself.

I think he'll have even more comfort and confidence tonight. I think he'll attack the basket more tonight. I'll think he'll be scary good.

Just think of what the score might have been,if KG had hit half of the miss shots n the second half.So when they talk about the score being close late in the fourth, and if Kobe did more,it would have been a different result. They didnt look at the fact KG usually hits most of the ones he missed.

I remarked to a friend the other day: the way KG scored against the Lakers interior defense was like in a video game.  He'd just keep weaving him way in past defenders, and then up for the layup.  It was impressive.  He literally looked like a man among boys at times.

KG said that he was upset at his performance in game 1. He should come out on fire tonight.

Yup ... KG was extremely mad at himself for the way he finished game one, so I imagine he'll be a monster tonight at both ends. I also look for the guards to be big tonight, and Rage and Ray to be working the ball in and out with Ticket. KG's gotta stay out of foul trouble, though, and I think they'll be looking to go after him to get him to the bench as soon as possible.

Oh I agree, tonight's the time and stage for The Big Ticket to own!

No pressure, just an opportunity against inferior defensive players, IMO

And this is why I so voted him MVP in the eariler poll on who will be the star of game #2!

With two days off to beat himself up (as well as recover) over his 2nd half production in contrast to his first he is going to be on fire on both ends of the floor. 17ft. Bunnies that didn't fall (to coin anothers phrase), will be added to a 30 point total tonight for K.G., I'm sure of it  8)

I'm paraphrasing Paul Pierce here but after KG's bad game on Thursday, I'm looking forward to a good game tonight. ;D

I think he's going to go off tonight.
