Because he hustled his butt off ... like he does every game! He was no more exhausted than he always is, and this is not a concern.

Almost verbatim what I was going to write Bahku. 100% dead on. Funny. Why is a guy who is killing himself out there on the court giving everything he has looking a bit tired...

Yeah, really EJ! (TP) Big shock, huh?  ;)

He didn't look too tired when he threw that nasty two handed follow up down next to Gasol posing for his poster...

That was one of the best plays I have seen in awhile!

He wasn't any more tired than normal in the fourth quarter. His shots just didn't fall. He had more than enough energy to create and take the shots, to hit the boards, to make good defensive plays, give that extra effort consistently. Fatigue wasn't a problem. His shots just didn't fall.

Garnett is so hyped up for these games I bet he hasn't slept in weeks. I think his legs were feeling in the second half because all those shots he missed that he typically makes.

He's out of shape ;D

Acie just beat me to it. He probably hadn't slept since Monday or Tuesday.

Seriously, though, he must have been amazingly hyped for at least a few hours before the game even started...

Someone from the Celts might have to get a tranquilizer gun and put Garnett down for a couple of days, just so he can rest.

I didn't think he was exhausted. He played great defense and rebounded the ball in the 2nd half. His jumpshots just wasnt't fallin'.

I don't know how this turned into somehow me being overly critical of Garnett.  He's been my favorite player in the league since I was in Middle School (Just graduated college) and I will be flying up to Boston to see Game 2.  I just don't recall him ever going 0-9 from the field like that before and his shots were coming up short so I was a bit concerned.

If you read my post you will see I pointed out how well he played defense and rebounded the ball the whole 2nd half.  I just know he ended the first half with like 18 points and didn't score again until about 2 minutes left in the game.  This was the first game where even I thought he should have gone inside more in the 2nd half . . . he did it early and I didn't understand why he stopped in the second half.  I'm sure Laker adjustments on the defensive sides were partly to blame for it but KG is my favorite player and I would love either him or Pierce to get the Finals MVP.
