I've noticed that there are numerous Laker fans making their way to Celticblog to liven things up a bit with their perspective, which i think is great.  But my question is, where should a Celtics fan go to return the favor?  I googled "Laker blog" but didn't come across one that i could immediately identify as "THE lakers blog."

Anyone got any insight? I'm dying to throw a wrench into the "Perk can't cover gasol" threads.

Maybe you should lower your expectations to "Lakers blogs ASPIRING to be the equivalent of CelticsBlog" ;)

The only other teams blog I've spent any time at was one of the T-Wolves blogs.
Yup

KB24.com has pretty active forums.

www.forumblueandgold.com is an excellent blog, but I don't believe the have forums.

thelakersnation.com seems to be an active site...  we've banned numerous trolls from there already.  :P  (Although undoubtedly there are many good posters there, as well.)

Everyone is of course free to do what they want, but I would encourage you all to comport yourselves in a classy manner on any Lakers site you visit, as the majority of the Lakers fans have done over here.  All trolling will do is reinforce a stereotypical image of Celtics fans, and will get you banned.  Intelligent conversation, on the other hand, reflects well on everybody.

Well, there are quite a few.  The largest is lakersground.net I believe.  I checked it out and decided against it for several reasons - tons of fans that really are not fans - you know, the kind that only find the faith when the team wins, and also lots of stupid smack, lots of expletives - so for me, just not my cup of tea.  I would rather post on a smaller blog that has more knowledgeable fans knowing something about basketball, about the history of the teams, etc., and also the blog (lakers.topbuzz.com/ )has a lot of automoderation not permitting too much license to the idiots if you get my drift.  I am sure there are also other blogs around.

You can probably find some more by googling "Lakers Fan Forum".

My appologies, Red - of course there is no L.A. equivalent to the often imitated, never duplicted Celticsblog...

RH, I'll do my best to avoid looking like the "sports guy," I'm just looking for a Laker forum to peruse and perhaps drop knowledge when called for.  I'll check out KB24 and see how they welcome a perspective tinted green.
