Perk has totally stepped up and impressed the hell out of me.

I always thought he would make a great backup coming off the bench but now he's seemed to learn how to play without fouling and he's bigger and stronger than most bigs in the league.

I think if he hones his offensive game to even just average level he can be a force down low.

Defensively and rebounding he's already better than most C's in the league today.

hahaha so that's what he looks like, I knew that facial hair (and his facial expression overall) made him look like something, I just couldn't say what it is, tp for pointing that out. And his look definitely says "get out of my way, I'm the force"

1.  Teal'C;
2.  Jaffa;or
3.  Stargate (or even "Sci-Fi" as he does sometimes appear quite scary to certain NBA refs looking to throw the game against the Celtics, like last night, Ken Maurer.)

Stargate SG-1 was my guilty pleasure a few years back, haha.

I love "the Pharoah" nickname.  We could be more direct and go with "Osiris."  He was the god of the dead - a bit morbit, but hey, it was made to be - Osiris is rockin the green in this pic.

I have to admit to finding Jeff Van Gundy's suggestion -- "with appologies to Chris Paul" -- of KP43 pretty darn funny.

I like the Pharoah, but I think The Beast -- as in "Kendrick Perkins is a Beast" makes the most sense.

I also love his Texas draaaaawwwwwwl.

And did anyone see KP's kid at the postgame press conference?  KP jr (don't know if that is his name) is 8 month old and has more hair than Paul Pierce..... amazing & funny.  He looked sooooo tiny in Perk's arms as they sat down.

I wonder if Perk would like The Pharaoh nickname? It hardly get's better than being Pharaoh to all.

He has been absoolutely awesome in 5 or 6 of the post season games. He is still learning; learning how to move, building in memory of that movement, learning positioning. I think he'd like a nickname that gives him credit for how far he has gone so far with his potential.

the announcers were really trying to push KP-43...I thought it was kinda dumb, I mean AK47 for Kirilienko is cool cuz its a gun, but KP-43 sounds like a high intensity cleaner or something...Pharaoh is better, or maybe Kendrickaman... or Perkinses...
