yes, souly on the fact that we have home court throughout. i havent seen anything to prove that we cant win at home. it's just pathetic to watch them on the road though

This team has no heart and folds under any kind of pressure on the road.  I now see why Kevin Garnett only got past the first round once prior to this year.  How can a supposed MVP candidate get badly (and I mean badly) outplayed by a chump like Anderson Varejao?

Oh boy....here comes the "Celtics are chokers" bandwagon.  There's still a long way to go.  Relax and enjoy.

I'm sorry, there's nothing "enjoyable" about Doc's coaching. It's pitiful, frankly. I've been saying this before the season started that he'd be exposed in the playoffs, and he has.

I'm not the only one to believe Doc got outcoached tonight. Woodson outcoached him in the Atlanta series now that I think about it.  :-X

No, I definitely have. I said it here in the offseason with the old board. And I've been saying it for years at insidehoops.com. In fact, I got a ban here for saying him and Avery were the top two worst coaches in the league.  Too bad as well, this team had real potential, if they actually had a playoff coach.

I'm not so sure he got outcoached, the lineup he started the 4th with was an insanely bad decision though. There were a few times where you could see Doc looking very frustrated in his players tonight, they didn't have as much energy, and they missed easy lay ups. I'm, not sure how Doc can be blamed for that.

hes rotation on the road is killing us.. when sam isnt on just sit him, hes gona hurt us more.. play eddie as sub for rondo.. there is no movement on the offense. ray started getting hot then we go away from him.. kg started on fire and the same happened.. rondo started scoring then he benched him too long.. im exasperated with some of his decisions.. theyre in a way momentum killers

Man this was hard to watch....again. This  team better find a killer personality soon or they will have more time for playing golf. I don't think that you can put all the blame on Doc. When you hear him speak he's telling them to take better shots, which they are not doing. Yes he could rotate better, but it was the poor shot selection that cost them this game as well as all the other road games. Aside from bad shot selection, they only want to run when they are at home, I don't see the intensity on the road. They better get their act together or they will get destroyed by the pistons if they make it that far. >:(

I'm a fan, so I'll still root for this team.

Realistically, though, I put our odds at less than 50/50 of making the Finals.  I hope I'm wrong, but a team *needs* to win on the road in the playoffs, and it *needs* to be able to close out close games (which it's only done once so far in the playoffs).  At this point, the pressure is only getting more intense; the national and local media is going to be all over the team before every road game, and the team thus far hasn't shown any tendency to shrug off that pressure.

All the negativity in this town sucks. It sucks, and it stinks, and it sucks. - Rick Pitino

i'm sorry. i know i said before not to panic. but i need reassurance. i'm pretty much convinced this team will lose this series, and if not this they almost certainly wont win a championship.

that 2-3-4 format will kill us even if we're lucky enough to get that far.
