I know the dudes been cold, but we have got to focus our offense around Ray Allen.  Last night there was a concerted effort to get KG going, and then we turned to Pierce.  Those two have their hands full, with Big Ben on KG and Lebron on Pierce.  Not to mention that we are asking the most defensively out of PP and KG.

Wally is guarding Ray Allen.  Why are we not exploiting that?  Ray isn't being asked to guard Lebron, or own the paint like KG - so he should be the guy doing the heavy lifting on offense.  He is due to break out here sooner or later and just needs the opportunity for some consistent touches on O.

The whole point of having 3 all-stars is to find mis-matches when the other team can't lock up everyone.  Every 2 guard in the league salivates at the thought of Wally guarding them 1 on 1.  Lets get Ray the ball more and make them adjust to guard him, which will in turn open things up for KG and Pierce.

The playoffs are all about matchups, and the one obvious advantage we have out there is Ray vs Wally.  Lets take advantage of it.

Go C's!!!

I agree with all you saying about the Ray/Wally matchup, but it hasn't  happen in three games so far,but i think  Rondo could exploit D.West, it is  a good matchup also,(in Rondo's favor) .Rondo can take D.West to the rack, and keep him honest, from helping out on defense,(whereas  it stands)D.West is roaming  around, doubling in places, helping out on Ray,with Rondo making him work harder, might help open up some things for Ray.

Unfortunately, the socalled Wally/ray allen match up is favoring the Cavs in the first three games..RA is horrible and is playing like he is 42 or something, since this series has started, Ray has been far from playing like an All-star he is putting up ordinary numbers he could not do sh.t out there...Id say this series will tilt the moment Ray Allen finds his groove, if not, we are in danger of being booted out.

Rondo is also useless out there if he will just cross the ball over from  back court and then hand it over to PP or KG and then just stand in one corner as that is what im seeing and the cavs have exploited that by allowing West to loiter without regard to what Rondo will do...The offense has to start with our PG and that is the key to winning this series, that is how the Spurs did it and that is how you beat this team...Use Rondo's speed in driving and space the floor, He won't be blocked in his drives if he uses the rim well and if he can dish properly to KG, PP and Ray, then he can easily put up 10 asst..look at how the Jazz and the Hornets play their PG..there is no reason for Rondo not to be able to do what CP3 or Tony Parker can do.

Yeah Ray has been boggling my mind as of late. I want him to take it to Wally, but he passes the chance up every time, and can't seem to  run over or under a one man trap set by Joe Smith... JOE EFFIN SMITH!!!

Pierce has to get his game going. Thats it. His game helps everyone else's.

What the Celts need to do is what they have been doing the whole season...get the ball to kg in the post!! The offense runs best when its run through him. Even the announcers last night where calling for it. Kg gets buckets, but most importantly effectively finds the open man when double teamed. I think a two man game with Kg and Ray is what we need to go to more.

There is definitely something a little backwards about Ray Allen's game. He needs to step it up! He's our best match-up.  Why not try to take Wally "weight of the world on his ankles" off the dribble a little bit?

The problem with talking about a 'best matchup' is it ignores the defensive scheme of the opponent. Rondo needs to bur some jumpers. People are playing off of him and his moves to the hoop aren't getting anything accomplished.

Cassell at least helps with spacing, but he also forces some atrocious shots. Ray Allen should be a better option when Cassell is in. Unfortunately, Sam is often oblivious to the open men when he has the ball.

Pierce needs to stop that silly spin move across the lane as it is producint more turnovers than points in the playoffs.

Lets just look at game one.  The biggest mismatch is KG against any of their defenders.  When he got the ball in the low post, they could not stop him from taking a good shot.

One positive about Sam's willingness to shoot is it actually allows other guys to get wide open, as the defense focuses totally on him/gets lulled to sleep. He's been getting better at finding teammates when the other team is keying in on him and expecting him to shoot - also he's awesome coming off the high screen to create his midrange jumper (as we all know) - I think adding a little more pick and roll/pop would make him an even more difficult cover

KG has the best matchup by far. Ray Allen has the next best.

I think Sam Cassell has the third best matchup. None of those Cleveland point guards can match his post game or his ingenuity. Let him take them. Great series for Sammy.

thats a reason why i feel he should start...but he needs to learn to make plays not force them..
