Caught Mr. Salvatore refereeing Three Celtics Games in the playoffs and he not only made some atrocious calls but he had a consistent pattern of breaking the flow of the game.
Personally, I think he should have been wearing the opponents jersey because he didn't stink in a balanced way just bad calls against the Celts. Who could you voice a complaint to? David Stern is not open to fan e-mail.

Actually, Bennett was OK when he was younger, but he's now one of the worst ... along with Violet Palmer, Kenny Mauer, and Joey Crawford, (although Joey wasn't bad the other night).

I know Salvatore gets the 'credit' for consistently being in the 'right place at the right time' when it's convenient for the NBA to get a win for the home team...but since Bahku mentioned her, I'll campaign for Vi as the consistently worst of the bunch.  Not necessarily biased, just a putrid referee.  Usually seems to be watching a different game than I am.  She's missed some great contests.

Bennett is pretty horrendous, not as bad as Violet and Kenny, but pretty terrible. He also has a habit of following up a terrible call with a technical foul against someone who is shocked by his ridiculous officiating. I always like Crawford for some reason, I always felt like he was one of the few referees that isn't influenced by the crowd.

Another reason to dislike Bennett, he'll never be as cool as his namesake.

With a first name like Salvatore, I'll bet he changed his name to Bennett from Bennetti. He's obviously a mafia plant, put there to rig games.

You put Salvatore and Violet on the same floor and you've got a junior high-quality officiating crew out there.

With that said, though, this has been an absolutely awful Celtic performance. Rondo has been horrible. Perkins has personally stopped two runs we had going. Allen is back into his funk.

Defensively the intensity hasn't been there. We don't seem to be able to dial it up on the road.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."
