The C's should really beat either of these teams in 5 games

So we get Philly for the first round. We should beat them with or without Embiid. Maybe 4-2?

We only have one stretch with two days off, otherwise basically an "every other day" deal

Is that saying that game 2 on Tuesday is only on Peacock?  If so, that stinks.
extremely stinky.  I saw somewhere it's NBC/Peacock for that game so I'm not sure how to interpret that.

I was hoping that the usual broadcasting of the first round is that unless it's a national game on a major network, that round is also broadcast on the team's local TV broadcaster.  I'm hoping the same will hold for this year and we'd get all but the first game that's on ABC also available on NBCSB

That's all over. Local broadcasts are done for the season. The new TV contract killed that.
the idea that the NBA is fine with limiting exposure to their prime draw - the playoffs - by restricting viewing to streaming services is so stupidly shortsighted it's mindboggling.  I really want to Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.slap Adam Silver right now.  I know violence isn't a solution or advocated here but I'm just too ticked off right now

I say Celtics in 5

Maxey and Edgecomb do scare me, and George is capable of having a few great games. But I also think Philly has zero answer for Tatum and will be overwhelmed. Drummond/Bona are solid but not Embiid-level either. They could force a Game 6 but I don't see it, not without Embiid

Could have a nostalgic path to the Finals with a series against the Sixers, and potentially facing the Knicks and Pistons.

I?m sure many are fine with it, but I really really hate the streaming. On the plus side I do think the Peacock game is on NBC.  Also don?t like Sunday at 1pm. In the middle of winter watching football at 1 on Sunday works, but in spring it takes the day. Fortunately it?s supposed to be rainy and cool this Sunday.

So here we go, a 1:00p National TV playoff game.  It is a rainy day so not like I would be doing anything outside anyway.  And I am real glad I did not buy a ticket to the Red Sox game.

My "thing to watch" is how well the emerging players (Queta, Scheierman, Walsh, and maybe Gonzalez) will hold up to the playoff intensity.  I feel like Queta will be fine, he should be able to continue to do what he does, but will Scheierman keep hitting shots?  Will Walsh and Gonzalez maintain a level of play to stay on the court?  This may not be a big a factor in the PHI series, but as the rounds get tougher, these guys will be needed.

I expect Brown, Tatum, and White to all play well, if they don't, nothing else will matter.  I also think Pritchard and Hauser should be fine, they are playoff vets also. But that gets us to Vucevic and Garza as a second tier of X-factor or wildcard.  I expect Vucevic to get the primary minutes over Garza, but how will he play?  And if Garza gets minutes, what can you expect from him?

Lots to love. The one thing that would worry me, I'm hoping it was because it was Foster and the refs being on something today. Otherwise, it's not ideal if Queta is getting in foul trouble early in games. Remember, he had this issue early in the season too where he'd end up fouling out in the 4th quarter with 3+ minutes remaining. He did get better as the season progressed and was available, but for this postseason they are gonna need him to be reliable and not as reckless with picking up fouls. Having Vucevic and Garza as depth helps too, which we didn't have early in the year.

I did like what I saw from Queta when he was out there though. Efficient, not afraid of the moment, and dare I say some of the defensive possessions with him contesting and blocking shots/deflecting passes inside looked KG-esque

I would think it will last in this series. Forced a little to get Luka in there with Q in early foul trouble. But I love getting Luka minutes. I think if they move on and play NY the rotation will tighten.  If it tightens it?s probably PP, Vuc and Baylor.  But I do want to see some Jordan and Luka.
