Basically, give it to the end of the calendar year and assess what the Celtics have shown after 30-35 games. If they look like a team that doesn't have much room for growth, start scheduling some losses and assessing what to do with Simons.
Looks like Amari is joining the big team vs Detroit tomorrow. I hope Joe gives him some run. Let?s see what the rook can do.
Tough stretch for the Cs coming up: Pistons, T-Wolves, Cavs, Knicks.

The Celtics' next 11 games:vs DETat MINat CLE (B2B)vs NYKat WASvs LAL (B2B)at TORTBD (Cup Filler)TBD (Cup Filler)vs MIAat TOR (B2B)Two games TBD, those opponents will be determined once the NBA cup field is set. Of the nine known games 8 are against current top-7 seeded teams with 3 Back-to-Backs. Really tough stretch. If they can go 5-6 and emerge from that stretch at .500 it would be a big win imo.
Just read this on CelticsBlog...With his dominant performance vs the Timberwolves, Jaylen Brown joins Larry Bird as the only Celtics ever to record 40+ points, 5+ rebounds, 5+ assists and 5 steals in a game.Very impressive...
