Great win Celtics!
Down KP and Jrue and we found a way to get some stops at the end to hold on.  JT?s and JB?s legs seemed to be done at halftime.  Excellent win.  TP?s for everyone!

KP cannot be missing games in the playoffs. rest him now because he needs to be ready for a agauntlet  this time. we were dominant and lucky no series went past 5 last year. i expect 6 and 7 gamers this time
LET'S GO CELTICS!

I didn?t get to watch the game so I had to go back and watch the game on TiVo. And even knowing that they had won, I still had to watch it through my fingers.

Good think I didn?t watch them go from up 20 to up 3.

I'm also concerned if he rests all this time and come back and gets injured during or after Game 1 of the first round and he goes out for an extended time. That would be unfortunate.

Denver's lack of a bench is gonna cost them. All their starters including Westbrook had to go 36+ minutes today, with 4 of them going 40+ including Jokic. I know they were missing Gordon but even then, the only reliable bench guys they really have are Westbrook and Nnaji. Strawther is decent, but still raw and there are some games he gets into foul trouble early.

Suddenly that 2-3 matchup between Lakers and Nuggets, the Lakers are salivating to see the Nuggets. I think LAL in 5. Luka, LeBron, and Reaves would be too much for Jokic and Murray to handle.

Yeah but actually I think there's a decent chance DEN could slip to 4. Only 0.5 separates all of MEM/LAL/DEN. That could set up a Warriors-Lakers first round

Wouldn't it be great if the Lakers somehow snuck into the finals to face a healthy Celtics roster, hungry for revenge for 2010.
(Of course, the current group would need to be reminded how our game 7 title win was STOLEN by the officials/NBA front office,
but I'm sure Garnett and Pierce would be happy to educate them.)  >:(
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

The current group minus Al Horford wouldn't even care because they care more about jersey swaps postgame and buddy buddying and Tatum is a Kobe homer.

Only the very veteran ones like Horford would understand these rivalries lol

I've watched the Derrick White replay like 5 different times. Such a cerebral player.

I know people question whether clutchness is really a thing but its not a coincidence that Derrick always seems to be in the right place at the right time. What a play.

Really good win against a legit team but again with almost blowing a 20 point lead and the whole garden atmosphere getting extremely tense in tough moments seems to have a negative effect, luckily Derrick white was showing peak Derrick white signs and we were able to pull it out.

Thank God for white and Al. Tatum was not good yesterday.

Two games here they should win if they put some effort into it vs Portland and Philly.

My guess is KP plays in one of these and Al the other.

Then full speed for the Lakers
