Vucevic available for 2nd round picks. Strange that such a skilled big man can't even warrant a 1st round pick in a trade.

I guess part of it is that most contenders already have a starting caliber center and no rebuilding teams want an older player like Vucevic so the market is limited. Only teams interested are looking at him as a 20mpg backup center.

Quote
The Chicago Bulls are not necessarily seeking a first round pick back in a trade of Nikola Vucevic. The Bulls would be willing to take back multiple second rounders for Vucevic given the reluctance by teams to trade first rounders.

Vucevic is owed $20 million this season and $21 million next season. Vucevic is averaging 20.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 31.8 minutes in 29 games this season.

Golden State

Why doesn't Golden State go after Vucevic?

They have no center. They could start Vucevic and then go small when Vuce goes to the bench. They could get him for G Payton II and M Moody plus 2nd rounders. Vucevic with his shooting and passing ability would be a great fit in their offense.

New Orleans

This is a dodgy one given their injury problems this year and continuing concerns over Zion's health but Vuce's skilled high post play would be a good fit offensively with Zion. They could move CJ McCollum for Vuce and something. They have too many ball-handlers in D Murray, Ingram, Zion, McCollum. Vucevic would be a better pairing with their 3 other ball-handlers than McCollum is.

He?s a strange player.  Always seems to look like he?s doing useful things, but never seems to add up to winning.
Yup

Make the move Brad. We need Vucevic with some rebounding, post-scoring, and paint protection. He'd be a reliable starter on this team.

You?d have to trade a starter to get him.

Love ya Kristaps but you have to stay on the floor at least 90% of the time, not 50% of the time. You make AD look more reliable nowadays. Maybe we can also send them Jrue and a pick, but Bulls gotta facilitate and send a guard back. Coby White and we get a double White backcourt

I've always liked Vucevic, and maybe it's my imagination but always seems to kill us any time we play against him.

Vucevic is a legit big ho can play the traditional inside game but can also step out and hit the three or the midrange jumper.  Solid passer as well.  Not a great defensive player, but I think this team has enough defensive ability to be able to work with it.

Downside is that he is a little old at 34, but much like Al Horford his game is much more focussed on Skill and IQ rather than athleticism, so as long as he stays healthy I can imagine him remaining effective well into his late 30s much like Hordord.

I don?t think he?s much of a winning player anymore which is probably why they aren?t expecting much in return. Though statistically he is having a nice season, I?d only want him possibly  as a complimentary player. Even then, for the salary he has I?d probably want to look elsewhere.
