An 8-man rotation most of the night.

Good bounceback.  Tatum is a decent basketball player.

Good adjustment tonight by attacking the paint.

It obviously helps when JT is hot, as well.

Half our points scored inside, that's more like it.
Do you see that Joe ?

Speaks to how versatile and talented this team is.  Also suggests that they shouldn?t get bogged down into shooting threes. They should be adjusting because they can, and should be constantly practicing ball movement to generate good looks.

Tatum was stellar last night, no question. Like I've said, I think this team is capable of stepping it up and taking it to another level when needed. JT destroyed the Bulls in the 2nd half after the first half was sort of mediocre from the C's. That's why I'm not really concerned about the C's even if their last 10 games have looked iffy. They have some flaws but it's still a loaded team that'll be tough to beat.

I mean look at these GDTs lately too. Don't get me wrong, we're all busy I'm sure and it's the Holidays, but I think it's also a lot of people not really caring about the C's in the regular season. This thread only had 3 total pages from the entire game. I'm sure once playoffs roll around everyone will be engaged again and there'll be like 50+ pages lol (and the C's will flip the switch too)

Guys are in a slump now, but better now than maybe April-May

Can?t believe I had to miss this game. Will look forward to the rewatch in a few days.

You want to talk about the ratings/popularity issue? One major issue in my mind is the blackout crap, which is only going to get worse next year with even more resources/packages needed to watch games. I?m visiting family in southern Illinois 4 hours from Chicago, and that is apparently in a blackout zone for my parents despite not having access to Bulks games on local channels. They?re also in the blackout zone for Pacers (3 hours from Indy) and Grizzlies (4.5 hours from Memphis) games with no access to their local games. So none of those games are available to them unless on national tv, but not NBATV. It?s ridiculous.

But it also speaks to how seldom this occurs and how obvious the benefits are when the Celts attacks inside more and shoot 3's less (though mid-40's attempts is still too much for my tastes). I will never understand why, especially when the team is having a cold shooting night from the perimeter, they don't go inside more often. You will never convince me this team would not be even better with more variety and creativity in their offensive schemes.

Yeah, I know, they won the title. I want more than one banner for this group and they have the talent to achieve that.
I'm just not sure they have the best strategies to win multiple championships.

The simple answer is efficiency.  40% from 3 is equal to 60% from 2.  So a better than average to good shooter is more efficient than an elite interior finisher. Kevin McHale was a career 55.4% shooter and his best years were 60.4%.  PP a 3rd guard is a more efficient offensive player than a HOF PF at his peak.

I am not advocating for any style of play but that's the simple math of the NBA.
