Walsh 4-13 and 0-7  from 3.

Scheierman 3-4 and 2-3 from 3....
Even wider separation for the full game. I could not help but compare the two of them in this game.  Seems like Walsh upside is Oshae Brissett, Scheierman upside is higher, IMO

Maybe offensively, but Scheiermans defense was awful.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Watson>Walsh
House>Davison

I see rhat #37 Cook is 26 and played at Chaminade in St Louise....must have been a teammate of Tatum

House>Davison
House played 5 years in college. He?s got 3 years of experience over JD. I?m a New Mexico Lobos fan. He?s got tons of energy and he?s a spark plug but he?s tiny and he?s a terrible shooter but doesn?t know it. Think Marcus Smarts poor shot selection on steroids.

He?s a likable guy but there is a reason the Cs have JD on a two way and House will be playing in Europe.

Didn't see much of the game.  Based on the box score and the comments, what you see in the box score seems to be what it is.  Walsh 0-10 from 3, wow.  He was 36% from 3 in G-league last season so it doesn't seem that the 0-10 is representative, but very disappointing.

Scheierman hit some shots but everyone says his defense was poor.  If he can't cover summer leaguers, he sure isn't going to be able to play at the NBA level.

Overall, we did have a pretty limited group on the floor.  All the better players sat out.  But still, this is summer league.  If you are going to have any chance at all at the NBA level, you need to stand out in summer league no matter who you are on the floor with.

Watching the 2nd half of the game now, after watching the first last night.

OMP is like, exponentially better than Walsh. Like Porzingis > Kornet level better. I think he got snagged before our original pick but man, if that is the archetype you?re after he was the guy to get.

I still think Baylor has the potential to contribute this year. I never understood why we signed Jay Scrubb last year, we don?t want a SL caliber player whose specialty is scoring. When he had some decent players around him Baylor looked like one of the best passers in SL. He will get comfortable and his shot will come back.

RIP Queta.

OMax was my guy in the 2023 draft, and I like to think Brad traded out of the first round when he was picked at 24 before Brad traded out of 25.

That is how I remember it.  Omar was who Brad wanted to draft. Once he went to the Mavs with the pick right in front of us, Brad traded the 25th pick.
