Didn't know that. I'm still sort of stunned that Danny gave him such a massive contract. The Jazz should be trying to lose as many games as possible this year since the 25 draft class is supposed to be special - Flagg, Harper, Bailey, and Traore all seem like sure things

That's not accurate. His new deal wasn't designated rookie extension. He can be traded in February.

My bad, the deadline falls a few days earlier this year than last season. So he effectively can't be traded until the offseason/
