I have been pointing this out for a while, but reaves is really bad on defense and is a liability for the lakers, particularly in the playoffs even if he has some nice offensive skills. I thought this video did a nice job of breaking down the way the Celtics attacked him:

He needs to really gain some strength to improve this.

Lakers have three guys on defense you can go at over and over in Reddish, Reaves and Russell.

Heck, you can even go at Lebron. He wants zero part in defending. He often just stood there like he was a one man zone.

This is why the Lakers won't do anything. They are not good defensively.

LeBron has made a lot of pedestrian/fringe NBA players look good on offense (See all Cavs players during his first stint and JR Smith, Tristan Thompson, etc. on his second Cavs go around) and made them a lot of money on their subsequent contracts, but he can't do anything to help them on defense.

This is true. It amazes me in this day and age with this kind of breakdown readily available more people don’t appreciate how much a horrible defender can destroy your whole defense. If Ham was smart he would have pulled reaves in the 4th last night
