NBA to add in-season tournament with Final Four in Dec

We arguably got the best draw of anybody, for what it’s worth.

Since the team only has to stay healthy for two months, championship!  Will our players get rings?

Plastic ones.  Silver will send a lackey to the nearest Toys R Us with a handful of quarters to stuff in one of those kids’ prize machines. 

(Are those still a thing?  I hope they are.  I loved those growing up.)

There aren't many Toys 'R Us stores left, but I still see those prize machines — Dollar Tree has them, as does one of our local burger joints. I think I've seen them in other places too. I used to love those things.

ive seen threads spiral when the team loses in any game. “Time to trade player X”, “Player A is a bum!” Etc etc. So I can imagine many here will be plenty invested in these tourney games, despite what’s being said.

Enable some of the best G League teams to participate in this in season tournament. Then the fans will care and players should care because it would be sooo embarrassing 😳 🫣 for an NBA team to lose to a G League team 🙄 even if their starters are out. 😄

Yeah I agree with this. It needs something more to catch any interest for me and I imagine a lot of other people. This is one of the very nba related topics I don’t click on the stories when they are posted on espn or elsewhere.
